1928 -  'Mille Fleurs', is built as a private residence for Maj. Boyer.

 

1941 - Mille Fleurs is sold to Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Lynd, who open it as Beautyrest Lodge the next year. It is named after the mattresses with which it is equipped.

 

1969 - The Lynds sell Beautyrest Lodge after 27 years of operation. The new owners rename it Otter Cove Lodge, 'Your away-from-it-all paradise'.

 

1974 - The Otter Cove Lodge changes ownership and is re-named Pender Lodge. It houses the Eagles Nest Restaurant.

 

1992 – The Emmings purchase Pender Lodge and rename it “Arcadia by the Sea”

 

2021 – After 29 years of operation, Arcadia by the Sea is sold and opens as “The Tides”
